We acquired this female as a frozen embryo from Irvine Ranch. With her solid breed genetics it will be easy to select for herd building quality with top predictability in calving ease, growth performance, maternal females that still have great numbers for marbling, yield grade, ribeye, and end product API and TI. MS Kali’s dam Vienna E724 continues to be used as a donor in Irvine’s program. She has loads of natural thickness and phenotypic soundness. Her udder quality is noted for being very exceptional.
MS Kali aborted her calf about a month early in 2024. She started to bag up and I could testify to the great udder. Normally we would not be including a female as a lead donor in our embryo transplant program without raising a natural calf but looking at the quality and information we didn’t want to lose those genetics. We are confident she has what it takes to qualify for a breed leading donor.
We will report how she flushed for us before the sale on our website littlebitterrootranch.com by the 10th of January. We will stand behind this donor to produce a minimum of 6 number 1 freezable embryos the first flush.
